Welcome Home Adult Day Center was started in 2007, by Karla Forrest, RN, BSN. Karla has always had a passion and a love for seniors and young adults with disabilities and felt the desire and need to provide the care she felt they need and deserve. In 2016, Karla decided to officially retire from her 30 year long career of nursing, but could not retire from her passion. Today she is still a very active part of everything that goes on at the center but has made provisions that allows her to enjoy it more as a passion and not a job.
